The 2012 NELAA Championship Awards Banquet held approx 150 people this year. Some of which have been part of the NELAA organization since it first began many many years ago.
Our NELAA family continues to grow each year, gaining new shooters from some that have never picked up a bow to the more advanced shooters that are just looking for some extra practice. We strive every year to reach out to our communities in hopes that we touch a life and give them the gift of not only to be a skilled archerer but also to be part of such a family & friends oriented organization.
Every year we ask our local companies to help us out by donating to our banquet so that we can give to some that may not be able to purchase for themselves. This year we gave away an outstanding number of bows! When I say outstanding, I believe our final count was 7 bows, one of which was a recurve. All of those were made possible from L&M Outdoors in West Monroe and TP Outdoors in Monroe, LA. Nothing compares to seeing the joy on the faces that these bows were given to!
On Time Feeders in Ruston, LA donated a feeder & a buck boiler this year. I don't know any hunter that wouldn't be absolutely thrilled to have either of those items!
Dyess & Associates located in Monroe, LA donated a 3D Rhinehart Buck. What better way to get ready for Bow Season that to have your very own 3D Buck in your backyard?!
Also, Flair Jewelers in Monroe donates 2 necklaces to us every year, one compound & one recurve pendant with a silver chain. Let me tell ya, these necklaces are a hot item in not only the US but all over the world! It is a race every year to see who can fill up the raffle bag!
McKinney Honda in Ruston, LA is always willing to help us out in anyway they can also. Be sure to go by & visit Tommy Simmons in their archery department!
To all our other sponsors & donators we appreciate all that you have done for our NELAA organization.
