![]() **NELAA Class UPDATES**… If you shot with NELAA last year you are familiar with the Bowhunter Outlaw Class. The beginning of the 2013 season we chose to eliminate that class due to lack of shooters in that division from 2012. Since the 2013 season has begun we’ve hd several shooters & individuals interested in shooting 3D but aren’t wanting to back off speed on their hunting equipment. Last night we hd our scheduled club presidents meeting & it was voted to bring back the Bowhunter Outlaw Class. Requirements to shoot the Outlaw Class are that your equipment MUST BE bow hunting equipment only with hunting sights, no tournament bows/no magnification, & there is NO Max Speed Limit. Bowhunter Outlaw class will shoot from the same stake as Bowhunter, Orange Stake with a 40 yard max. <Bowhunter Outlaw class has bn added & effective now.> So, if you have previously shot in the Adv Bowhunter class you will have the option to move to Bowhunter (depending on your equipment & speed) or to move to Bowhunter Outlaw. A chronograph will be available if you are unsure of your speed. ** The “screw-in” requirement for all Bowhunter classes has also bn changed to go by ASA requirements, all Bowhunters classes will now allow glued in tips as per ASA.** Also, 2 additional classes have been added…. Youth Traditional (Ages 18-younger) & Women’s Youth (Ages 13-16), we’ve hd several new youth shooters this season & want them to continue to come shoot with us. Age requirements are effective to your age as of February 2013. With these changes we are hoping to bring in even more shooters, so if you have a buddy that may be interested in shooting 3D for practice on their hunt shooting skills please tell them to come out & give us a try! If you have any questions or suggestions, we are all ears & would like to hear them. Please be sure to read over the rules & requirements for your class & we hope to see you at Centerpoint Bowmen this Saturday!
